Board-Certified Patient Advocacy · Berkeley, CA

You deserve an advocate who has been exactly where you are.

I have had over 160 chemotherapy infusions, more than 100 scans, and more blood draws than I can count. I understand the uncertainty, the pain, and what it means to be sick — and I know there is a way through it.

About
"In 2014 I was given six weeks to live. Over a decade later, I am thriving."

Between treatments I traveled the world and hiked mountain trails. Joy is still possible — and I know exactly what it takes to find it, because I found it myself.

I am a Board-Certified Patient Advocate, Stanford Healthcare PFAC member, and PCORI Ambassador. I work with patients and families from diagnosis through survivorship — locally and nationally. Every tool I use, I built because I needed it myself.

I am also the founder of Vivacuri — a patient navigation platform built from the inside out, by someone who has been exactly where my clients are.

What Clients Say

Real outcomes for real people.

Sarah created an environment of curiosity, relieving so much anxiety. We worked together with my care team. We can't thank her enough.
Hanna · San Francisco
We live out of state. Sarah took our mom to appointments, made certain the information mom told us was correct. Our worst fears were mitigated.
Bob · San Mateo
Not wanting anyone to know about my cancer, Sarah helped me make a plan so that I could live alone while going through treatment without worry.
Joseph · Walnut Creek
I recommend using an advocate. My mind was put to ease from the time we met. She listened to find out my objectives and goals. If the cancer returns, she will be my first call.
